sigh. a-maths paper 2 and chemistry today. e-maths paper 2 and geog elec yesterday. i left several blanks for e-maths and i only studied "industries" for geog during the 45 mins or so after e-maths (studied agriculture in the morning from 3-6am). didn't touch "tourism". then for today's papers.... haiz. i think i'll have to drop a-maths. it's no longer a choice for me, it's more like a requirement. i mean, out of the 80 marks that the paper 2 totals, i only did 20 marks' worth of questions. and i can't even guarantee that i WILL score those 20 marks. let's say if i DO get the marks for the questions i attempted, they'll only make up 25%. i have to practically get full marks for paper 1 to PASS. and my grades for mid-year and CAs aren't helping. i got borderline passes. argh. i feel so hopeless.
as for chemistry, i studied this morning (actually just read through all my notes) from 3-6am. that's why i didn't touch a-maths. and i'm guilty of watching tv last night. sorry! but the taiwanese show (wang zi bian qing wa) really IS addictive. so nice. i think it's gonna end soon. sigh. i also watched "beyond the axis of truth 2" at 9pm. i think the finale is tonight.
anyway i missed my first 156 bus this morning and was quite irritated. so i reached school at 6.30am and i tried to memorise formulas (failed pretty miserably) for a-maths. i read my a-maths notebook on the bus. so last-minute. but that's just me. like my chinese tuition teacher always says, "lin shi bao fo jiao". direct translation is "hugging buddha's leg at the last minute", meaning to seek help at the last minute etc. aiya i dunno how to translate. hmm. since i'm not buddhist i guess i pray at the last minute? sorry God....
a-maths was really horrible cos my foolscap papers were mostly blank. left a lot of space for me to attempt the questions after skipping them but in the end i couldn't do them anyway. let's say i used 8 pieces of paper, only 3 sheets (or even less) would be filled on both sides after compressing my handwriting. oh wells. gone case.
after a-maths i told ms yuen that i think i have to drop a-maths and she told me it's better not to (again). but she DID concede that the a-maths paper 2 was hard. good thing she said the paper 1 for a-maths will be easier. but we have to watch out for e-maths paper 1. that's what she said.
chemistry was okay, apart from the fact that i couldn't remember which salts were soluble and which were not. i'm terrible at that. just can't memorise it. actually i can't memorise many things. it's just not my forte. the paper 2 was fairly simple but paper 1 was slightly tougher. hmm. i think i have a high chance of getting a B3 for chem. maybe even A2? haha but i won't get my hopes up. yet. in case they are dashed (?).
after the exams jx wanted to study physics. i wanted to go home and sleep cos i was feeling super lethargic. so i told mich to teach her then i'd go home. however mich said she teaches wrongly sometimes (i corrected her once or twice before even though i FAILED physics mid-year) so she said i had to be there to check. so i reluctantly followed them to the library and slept while there were SUPPOSED to be studying. in the end they ended up playing a bit and jx read a book (all while i was sleeping; i was woken a few times and was a little irritated cos we WERE in a library, people were studying and i wanted to sleep). so when we left at about 4+, 5 i was in a bad mood cos i was tired, groggy, there was a pain in my neck (cos of the awkward sleeping position i was in), and all for no reason. they didn't even ask me any questions. so i felt that i had suffered this all for NOTHING. but don't worry jx and mich cos i'm not irritated anymore. i was just tired.
in conclusion (haha), i think today was a pretty okay day even though i screwed my a-maths and suffered neck-ache. hmm. i'm still gonna praise God cos hey, you never know what plans He has for you. maybe He meant for me to fail a-maths so i could do better in the future (hopefully) and encourage someone. God's plans are always great even if they may seem to be horrible. but things will go well and in His time. He has plans to prosper you, not to harm you (can't remember what verse). oh, as for the neck-ache, maybe it'll help me to learn to bear with pain? cos i have fairly low tolerance for pain (other than jabs, that's a different case. i'm not really afraid of them. lol).
haha. so you see, everything can benefit someone in some way although you may not see it yet. God's timing is perfect and His plans are the best!!!
lol i sound like a broken record. i keep repeating myself.
hmm i decided to use a larger font cos very hard to read it when i select "normal font". and this post is such a lengthy one so i shall do everyone who reads this a favour.
