it was today!!!! today!!!! my first day of work. well. wanted to sleep just now after i showered (about 8pm+) cos i was feeling super lag but the deadline for smARTS media articles coding is due tomorrow. so since im online i might as well blog right. and i cannot NOT blog abt my first day of work!!!! so i'll make it quick.

anyway. woke up abt 6am then left my hse around 7.10am, took mrt to lakeside and reached there arnd 8.15. too early so my mum and i bought--guess what--chocolate!!! and charsiew bao then i went to my branch but the teachers there didnt seem to know that i was supposed to be on attachment. hmph. and i was supposed to report to mrs patsy yeo (i think she's the principal) but she wasnt there. apparently she's coming tmr. anw i was assigned to a chinese teacher (!!) and i almost fainted cos my chinese is so poor. was supposed to help the p3s (it was the p3-5 class) cos i confessed my weakness to the teacher. at some points i didnt know the answers for some of the questions *paiseh* and i marked their work with the help of the useful answer key (praise God for the person who invented it).

then lunch time and the kids kept spilling the soup and the place is super dirty and the food is a bit bland (not that im complaining) then it was like so slack i could even catch a few winks.

then i marked a few p2s' work then took care of the k1 and k2s (one k1 four k2s). ohmigosh they are an armful. they were drawing/coulouring and they were intrigued by my pencilbox and they got crayon marks on the table, pencil sharpenings on the floor, paper pieces strewn all over, liquid paper (yes, mine) on the table. it was a real headache. i seriously don't know how im gonna survive 12 more days there.

they also played Broom Wars or something (haha) and i had to keep telling them to keep the (broken) broom handle and they climbed on the plastic chairs and broke one and opened the window while on the stack of chairs (very dangerous!!) and spat saliva on the window and... goodness knows what else. little imps. wish i don't have to go back tomorrow.... :S

then teabreak which we spent cleaning the table and eating bread with margarine and drinking milo then i slacked on the first floor a bit while waiting to be told what to do then i looked after the p2s and tried to make them do their corrections (i marked their work before that, as i mentioned) but they were very playful and i tried to go through each wrong question one by one but i was also very tired.

hmph. then went home lor. took 154 then change to 156 but as i was waiting for 156 i was reading "anne of green gables" so i missed the bus. sigh. had to wait longer and when i went home i ate a lot. and i mean A LOT. then showered etc wrote my journal halfway (now still mid-sentence) and came online edited the articles for smARTS media then blogged.

hey wait. this is supposed to be a short blog right?? oh well. haiz. gotta write my daily reflection (part of work experience requirement) now. or maybe i'll do it tmr on the bus. got loads of time anyway. til then. night.
